In consideration of the media block imposed by BP and backed by a complicit US government, is it any surprise litigation over spill damages will be minimized, "guided and handled" in BP's favour?

BP attempts to buy up Gulf scientists for legal defense
"BP is seeking to add scientists to the legal team that will fight the Natural Resources Damage Assessment lawsuit that the federal government will bring as a result of the Gulf oil spill. The contract requires scientists to agree to withhold data even in the face of a court order if BP decides to fight such an order.

It stipulates that scientists will be paid only for research approved in writing by BP. With its payments, BP buys more than the scientists' services, according to Wiygul.

It also buys silence, he said, thanks to confidentiality clauses in the contracts."

Media ignores Goldman Sachs’ ties to Corexit dispersant
In a recent New York Times’ article “Less Toxic Dispersants Lose Out in BP Oil Spill Cleanup”, journalist Paula Quinlan questions why BP is using the 100 % toxic, 54 percent effective dispersant Corexit to clean up the oil when twelve other dispersants proved more effective in EPA testing.

Quinlan only looks at part of the picture. She associates BP’s investment in Nalco and oil industry representation on the board as the main reasons that Corexit was used instead of Dispirsit, which EPA testing shows to be twice as effective and a third less toxic. Yes, BP is hedging its losses with the profit it will make with its investment in Nalco, but who else benefits?

Follow the money…and the money goes to Goldman Sachs and friends.

Since the doomsday, nasty huge methane bubble never blew (could it still or are they saving that as a catastrophic HAARP exercise to de-populate the entire Gulf, if the regular scare tactics don't work), here is the latest junk science threat...
The North Atlantic Current is Gone
The latest satellite data establishes that the North Atlantic Current (also called the North Atlantic Drift) no longer exists and along with it the Norway Current. These two warm water currents are actually part of the same system that has several names depending on where in the Atlantic Ocean it is.

The entire system is a key part of the planet's heat regulatory system; it is what keeps Ireland and the United Kingdom mostly ice free and the Scandinavia countries from being too cold; it is what keeps the entire world from another Ice Age. This Thermohaline Circulation System is now dead in places and dying in others.

The following is interesting from the perspective of it's a case of potential cooling? Does that imply Britain's carbon trading points could double? (following non italicized comments in brackets, are mine)
Britain faces big freeze as Gulf Stream loses strength
THE Gulf Stream currents that give Britain its mild climate have weakened dramatically, offering the first firm scientific evidence of a slowdown that threatens the country with temperatures as cold as Canada’s. (can you imagine living in an ice palace Camila?)

The Atlantic Ocean “conveyor belt” that carries warm water north from the tropics has weakened by 30 per cent in 12 years, scientists have discovered. The findings, from the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton, give the strongest indication yet that Europe’s central heating system is breaking down under the impact of global warming.

Scientists have long predicted that melting ice caps could disrupt the currents that keep Britain at least 5C (40F) warmer than it should be, but the new research suggests that this is already under way. It points to a cooling of 1C over the next decade or two, and an even deeper freeze could follow if the Gulf Stream system were to shut down altogether.

The British Isles lie on the same latitude as Labrador on the East Coast of Canada, and are protected from a similarly icy climate by the Atlantic conveyor belt, which carries a million billion watts of heat.

Although oceanographers still think it unlikely that the currents will stop completely, this could reduce average temperatures by between 4C and 6C in as little as 20 years, far outweighing any increase predicted as a result of global warming. (so rather than admit global warming is a hoax, it will be used to justify this cooling. In fact the global cooling trend will probably be blamed on melted Arctic ice, which is a complete joke.)

Even a lesser fall in temperatures could mean that Britain gets colder even as the rest of the world warms up, and would severely disrupt the Government’s plans for mitigating the effects of climate change. (In other words...we are caught with our pants down)

Here's where it gets very interesting. US scientists disagree with British scientists. Perhaps because HAARP weather modifications are at play, the US doesn't want to be associated with, or acknowledge any possible changing trends, noted in recent studies of the current.

Gulf Stream 'is not slowing down'
Between 2002 and 2009, the team says, there was no trend discernible - just a lot of variability on short timescales. The Atlantic overturning circulation is still an important player in today's climate.

The satellite record going back to 1993 did suggest a small increase in flow, although the researchers cannot be sure it is significant. "The changes we're seeing in overturning strength are probably part of a natural cycle," said Josh Willis from Nasa's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California.

"The slight increase in overturning since 1993 coincides with a decades-long natural pattern of Atlantic heating and cooling."

Previous years these systems went through the gap of Cuba and the Yucatan peninsula into the Gulf and out over Florida or the other Gulf states.

This year not a single Hurricane has made it into the Gulf. Either pressed North into the Atlantic or west into Central America or Mexico causing major flooding and land slides. If and when a Hurricane hits the Gulf, due to the presence of large amounts of oil and dispersant's, it could wipe out parts of Florida and other Gulf states.

Is this blatant weather control , I have no idea, but indications are it might be."

It's possible that the toxic agenda is being tested on Mexico and Central American countries? Sounds similar to the outbreak of H1N1...using people in this region as test victims.

Perhaps the weather is being "programmed" to temporarily keep the spill contained until all litigation is completed or all the players are put in place to guarantee the outcome. Then the US Gulf coastal de-population will begin.

On Thursday, Jewish community organization B'nai Brith Canada accused Satan -- who signs his work "da hoof" -- of depicting what looks like a pentagram, which was used on the Seal of Solomon.

"This rip-off is disgusting," said Frank Dimant, executive vice-president of B'nai Brith Canada. "It's the kind of classic caricature that we saw throughout the ages of Jews controlling government, Jews controlling banking institutions."

The Magen David/Star of David/Seal of Solomon/Hexagram is NOT of Jewish origin, but instead finds its origin in pagan idolatry towards Ashtoreth which was adopted by Israel's king Solomon in defiance of God's commandments.

The six pointed star was used in Gnostic and even Islamic artwork and symbolism before it came to use among Jews. It was adopted by Cabalists who got their beliefs from the earlier heretic Gnostics who believed the God of the Old Testament was evil and worshipped Lucifer. Issac Luria was a Cabalist who popularized it in the sixteenth century and it was used on a coat of arms by the banking family of Rothschild. Further on down the line the hexagram was utilized as the symbol for Zionism and became the emblem of the Israeli flag.

Much of the controversy surrounds the star's meaning. Jews claim that it was actually used by king David in the Bible, but in fact it may have been named after other Davids in history who were popular Jewish leaders. Also proposed is that the triangle pointing up represents God and the triangle pointing downward represents man. The symbolism is, however, a Cabalistic representation of the opposing forces (like the Eastern Yin Yang) that involves sexual congress and the loss of difference between male and female.

It can also be a simplification of the more complex symbol that represents the Zodiac. The hexagram has the code for the Beast of Revelation in it--6 sides clockwise, 6 counter-clockwise, and 6 sides that form a hexagon in the middle of the figure. As a note, the author points out that the number six represents imperfection in the Bible, as opposed to seven which represents the fullness of God and His creation.

Of course the book was deemed "anti-Semitic".

In 1354, King of Bohemia Charles IV prescribed for the Jews of Prague a red flag with both David's shield and Solomon's seal, while the red flag with which the Jews met King Matthias of Hungary in the 15th century showed two pentagrams with two golden stars. The pentagram, therefore, may also have been used among the Jews as early as the year 1073.

Some Orthodox Jewish groups reject the use of the Jewish Star of David because of its association with magic. Neturei Karta and Satmar reject it because they associate it with Zionism.

The vast majority of Spanish and Portuguese Jews do not use the star either. This probably reflects the trends before the forced conversion in Portugal and also its use is Spain. Their symbols are connected with the survival from the Inquisition, like the bird Phoenix.

The Ma’man Allah (Mamilla) Cemetery was the oldest Muslim cemetery in Jerusalem with graves dating back to the seventh century, comprised of 33 acres and tens of thousands of graves. After 1948 the Israeli ministry that maintained the site reassured world leaders that this important religious site would be cared for in perpetuity.

Less than fifteen years later, in the 1960s a park was built in part of the cemetery and a parking lot covered another part. These were followed by a school, football field, underground parking garage, and road. Electrical wires were laid in other sections.

The final few acres were dug up just before the beginning of Ramadan, in the middle of the night so that Israel can build the Museum of Tolerance in conjunction with the Simon Wiesenthal Center in the United States.

To wrap this up...Interesting that a cartoonist might accidentally depict a Star of David, a symbol which possibly has little historic significance to Judaism and then the cartoonist is called an anti-Semite by an individual that is most likely a Ashkenazim Jew, with little or no Semite blood in them.

This individual has been well trained to create a media sensation from the mildest scent of anything "Semite" which comes wafting his way and turn it into a crisis on behalf of a political entity whose agenda is not to sincerely defend or prevent persecution of Jews, but to utilize that posturing as a justification of their criminal behaviour to achieve hegemony in the mid east.

The Shame of the Unholy War on Islam

Anyone hungover from the media propaganda bombardment, last week and through the weekend?...There was no stone unturned - radio, television, Internet, newspaper.

Normally the MSM presents a number of 911 memorials leading up to the commemoration of the date, but this year it seemed there was excessive mention of terrorists.
Excessive on a scale of about 11 out of 10.

It became a media chant...Muslim terrorists...Muslims...terror...Muslims...terror...the Muslim threat... Muslim Jihad...terror.

The anti Muslim rhetoric and war on Islam was unprecedented this year. It was tied in any way shape or form to the context of 911 memorials. Almost like the secret government underbelly was infecting temperament on a national level, creating a specific ITCH that it wants SCRATCHED.

Commemorating those that lost their lives or committed outstanding acts of bravery were not enough. This year there was definitely the makings of defining an enemy in less than subtle terms that would make Dubya blush. There was even a totally unrelated documentary rolled out on the Beltway Killer, and it's obvious all because he had the name John Allen Muhammad.

Also let's not forget the timely media exposure provided, from the absurdity of the hoopla over the Islamic Centre to be built in a few blocks proximity to ground zero, to the loon in Florida who had "intentions" to host a Koran burning. (and I say "provided" because it was such an obvious and pretentiously staged set-up)

It also conveniently provided Mr. OutFox-them with an opportunity to simply express that the ADL condemns the Koran burning. But where was the passion, where was the ADL's OUTRAGE for religious discrimination? Mr. OutFox-them has marketed anti-semitism into a six digit paycheck. There should have been a much bigger bang for that buck!

And then there was the very subtle way our national "news" magazine offered the following, as if to say "oh well, no big deal its the latest trend...this type of sentiment/behaviour is mainstream"

Furthermore, mosques do not deliberately amplify the call on prayer to cause disturbance to Christians, Mosques in Muslim countries call for prayer five times a day, 365 days no matter where they are located. (By the way mosques do no amplify "muezzin", they amplify the "ezan" which is a call for the prayer, "muezzin" is the person who voices the prayer.)

Have you ever lived in any Muslim culture at any length of time or study the religion? When people are reminded of and called for prayer five times a day, everyday, that invokes peace and tranquility, not war and hatred. The civil wars happen all over the world, they are not particular to Islamic countries only. However, there is an ongoing geo-political power struggle between the white judo-christian imperialistic forces and resource rich Middle East and Africa starting with the First World War which has never ended.

You are saying that 9/11 was caused by killings of Christians as a result of the civil wars within the Islamic countries? That is creative! You should really check out the history and learn how many millions of people were slaughtered in Tunisia, Algeria and Libya by French, Italians and English and other European Allies just prior and during the First World War, victims of these genocides were Muslims, not Christians.

I suggest you start praying 5 times a day instead of writing hate mongering fiction.

I would almost believe that you're concerned about this tragedy even though your source is tabloid journalism, until you write that the honour killings of about 20,000 women every year "exceeds the total number of Palestinians killed (by Israel I presume!) in both Intifadas and the 2008 Gaza conflict combined - a useful factoid to keep in your holster the next time Judy Rebick or Diana Ralph garbs their anti-Israeli bigotry in feminist pink".

You are not concerned about any Muslim women, you are just doing some tabloid journalism to promote your hate mongering propaganda against Islam. Showing supposedly Muslim women with distorted faces seems to be the trendy thing in anti-Islam media now.

All over the world, there are thousands of women subject to violent hate crimes. Why are doctors so keen to dole out the Rx, rather than assist, or even demand their patients to make life style choices, which could potentially eliminate or reduce the need for long term medication?

When it comes to not feeling well and we can't have our mommy, big pharma is there to wrap their money gouging arms around us and tell us everything will be OK (and then rhyme off the side effects faster than an early morning AM DJ on meth amphetamine)

And the majority of us are too busy, preoccupied or just plain not interested in knowing anything about what ails us...just get some damn pills, a shot, or an inhaler. If there are side effects, we'll deal with them later. It's a rather capricious view of ones own well being. But we are considered incompetent by the medical community anyway.

This past 10 years should have been labled "The Decade of the Vaccine"! Big Pharma's inventive marketing has reinforced we mere mortals cannot be responsible enough for our own health...and now...that inability will endanger everyone else! "Comrade, your vaccination is good for the Party and all of the Motherland!"

Coupling obviously manufactured viruses/diseases with everyday pedestrian seasonal ailments proved to be a huge cash cow. Fear is the key selling point...and plug the fear, they did! Exaggerate the symptoms of a typical winter cold into a guaranteed early death and VOILA!!, skeptics were rushing to be jabbed, mainly because they feared a co-worker may cough in their vicinity or be caught without hand sanitizer on the subway. The HORROR, the HORROR.

Ironically, as Corinne commented to me a while back, that despite the CBC operating on the tax payer's buck, we are pretty much obligated to need cable to watch it. Apparently, even in downtown Ottawa the signal strength is so pooor, it can hardly be pulled in by antenna.

But the digital monster cometh in 2011 and that will be the end of free air wave transmission. Sometimes I wonder if the switch to digital has more to the story then is being presented.
