Belonging, like Gustave Courbet to "no school, to no church, to no institution, to no academy,
least of all to any régime except the régime of liberty",
with a healthy dose of logic and common sense and a tendency to question everything.

It's not a war crime if you're wearing a NATO uniform

Statement by ICC Prosecutor on decision by Pre-Trial Chamber I to issue three warrants of arrest for Muammar Gaddafi, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi and Abdulla Al-Senussi

As stated in the video below, Gadhafi is attacking armed rebels, not civilians. A Canadian PM, especially the current one, would do the same if there were an armed resistance here (remember black October? - see full length documentary film).

NATO is killing Libyan civilians with bombs, but the killers wear olive drab, so that's okay. As for "breaking NATO ranks", the analyst in the video says it's a war by three countries, not a true NATO endeavour, and that the judicial body at the Hague is a political court - a tool of NATO rather an instrument of international justice.

This is similar to Momin Khawaja's predicament. If it's true he built detonators to be used for the fight against the invaders of Afghanistan, against soldiers, not civilians - something we would consider the duty of every able-bodied person if Canada were invaded - his real crime was that he wasn't wearing a NATO uniform when he did it.
