Greek protesters face tear gas barrage
Note that for the most part these are young males. What did the government expect when they put so many young men out of work? That energy has to go somewhere.A slightly redeeming feature of the Greek government is that 138 members voted against the austerity measures. They must be really stupid, eh? Especially since Papandreou believes - or has been scripted to believe - it's the only way to save the country.

Meanwhile, security forces have reportedly injured 600 as young people continue to protest in Egypt - and an "Egyptian Christian telecom mogul" is doing his best to stir the pot, showing that, unlike Islamists, Christians have a "sense of humour", albeit a malicious one.
I do think, however, that Islamists would be better off not reacting to deliberate "Christian" attempts to get them all worked up. They should just retaliate by making fun of the Pope - like I do.
Well, actually, boycotting the "Christian" guy's company isn't such a terrible idea. The Pope is CEO of a mega corporation too, and I'm boycotting everything it stands for.
You might notice, though, that I never make fun of God, nor of Jesus, nor of Mohammed. Just the people who set themselves up as their reps on earth, and use their names to keep people in thrall, which unfortunately is happening on both sides of the "war on terror".
