WHAT MAKES OBAMA DANGEROUS?

Barack Obama will likely become president of the USA - if the media and celebrities have anything to say about it - and for this, I feel very sorry for the American people.

Obama is a dangerous man. Not because he's "Muslim". Not because he "consorts with terrorists". Not because he was a long standing member of a church whose preacher was prone to inflammatory speeches. He is dangerous because he is sincere.

He is sincere and this sincerity causes people to believe in him, to trust him. His life experiences are echoed in those of the masses. They feel he understands them. They love him and they will follow him to the promised land no matter how harrowing the journey.

Obama has been hand-picked by the wealthy elite for exactly this moment in time - just as George Bush was chosen for his.

GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT.

The wealthy elite know that the presidential election is simply "bread and circus". Democracy is a way to keep the masses happy and feeling that they actually have some kind of control over their lives. In fact, the world works pretty much as it always has - the ultra-rich still live off the masses by controlling and guiding them emotionally.

With president Bush, the people, devastated by the greatest staged event ever - 9/11 - and motivated by the resulting fear and hate, willingly paid for the invasion of Iraq. They sent their sons and daughters, husbands and wives to die there. Why? Because the elite wanted control over foreign oil. Years of corporate greed have devastated the American economy and yet the people were expected to cough up the cash to settle accounts. People are tired, scared, frustrated, worried about money, healthcare - they are almost paralyzed after so many years of living in fear. People are on the brink of revolting against the system.

GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT

Keep them happy and co-operative and paying their taxes and buying stuff. In other words, the elite know they have to look after their meal ticket. After 8 years of Bush the people need a new motivation to keep the system going and along comes Obama - seemingly out of the woodwork - a once in a generation type of person.

In truth, for the economy, it doesn't matter who wins; Iraqi oil money can easily pay for any economic revival plan. McCain can fix the economy and deliver prosperity just as easily as Obama. But he just can't build the kind of cult following that Obama can. He can't inspire that kind of love and loyalty in the people. And that's what makes me concerned.

Love is a much stronger motivator than fear. Too much fear and people will revolt. But love, love can inspire people to walk to the ends of the earth. It inspires personal sacrifice. It inspires blind obedience. Obama is surrounded by Jesus imagery and references to JFK. Not to mention the fact that Biden says he was inspired by LBJ. There is nothing more powerful than martyrdom, or at least the possiblity of it, and there is no end of talk about the possible threats against Obama's life.

I wonder what is next on the elite's agenda? Biden already alludes to the fact that Obama will be tested by some generated event and that he will need to depend on the loyalty of his supporters (his disciples) to convince the masses that even though he has to make unpopular decisions - they are sound decisions. He suggests possibilities such as conflict with Russia or perhaps a nuclear threat from Pakistan. It is clear that the American people are in for more hardship than ever. And the sincerity of Obama will stop them from questioning the validity of their government's actions.
